Slow Food is an international member organisation with more than 100,000 members in 132 countries worldwide. The Slow Food movement is based on the belief that the food we eat should be good, clean and fair, and that it should be produced without damage to the environment, animal welfare or our health. The Slow Food organisation runs a wide range of projects and events at a local, national and international level, promoting bio-diversity and good food production.
