  The Literates Welfare Association (LAW) is an NGO in Tamilnadu, India, working for the welfare of the downtrodden especially dalits, women, marginal landholders, landless peasants, and underprivileged children. Among the current programmes sponsored by the organisation are the following: environmental education, a national environmental awareness campaign, VVV club for agriculture development, vocational training in tailoring and computer literacy, a  micro/rural entrepreneurship development programme, and a range of health and education programmes. LAW also provides services to families, including running a creche for children and family counselling.
