  Comité d’Entraide Familiale (CEF) is a local NGO  in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), created by agricultural villagers, farmers, beekeepers, fishermen , and intellectuals. The organisation was set up to assist returning refugees. CEF aims to combat poverty by improving nutrition,  health, education and the  environment  in  efforts to immprove the socio-economic well-being of the community.
CEF is involved in  increasing production through planting food and vegetable crops, poultry farming,  micro-credit, tree-planting and training on accountability, management and transparency, and elections.
