The Mountain Village Development Board (MVDB) is a Nepalese NGO based in the Bajhang district. The organisation is geared towards fighting poverty through a range of projects and programmes designed to improve the living conditions of people in the area implemented through partnership with community organisations and the private sector and with other bilateral, national and international agencies.

BVDM works with rural communities to increase their capacity to plan, manage and implement activities on their own. A special emphasis is placed on involving women, Dalits, Janajati, the very poor and the marginalized in all development processes.

To date, BVDM has worked with over 50 community organisations, introducing a number of programmes for social, educational and economic development.
