Heart for Hope (formerly,Heart for Romania) is a US-based non-profit organisation established in 1996 providing humanitarian aid in Romania. Their projects include offering practical assistance to impoverished adults and children in central Romania by providing: sports equipment, games and toys for orphans or handicapped children; clothing items; medicines, vitamins, eyeglasses; medical supplies and equipment; beauty care and personal hygiene for the elderly and orphans etc. The organisation supports computer training in the region’s school and facilitates US donations to public schools in Romania. Furthermore, it provides air transportation to the US for children needing medical treatments and surgical interventions.
