Global Village of Beijing Environmental Education Center(GVB) is a non-profit non-governmental organization working on issues regarding sustainable development in the People’s Republic of China mainly through environmental education in the form of production and distribution of multimedia publications and the organization of journalist trainings. The organization advocates for green lifestyles, provides training for eco-villages, and promotes environmental issues in the media. GVB also carries out a reconstruction project in villages destroyed by the 2008 earthquake by rebuilding energy efficient homes and promoting traditional Chinese social values and medicine.
