Family Health International (FHI) / China, a field office of Family Health International, collaborates with local partners to increase the demand and availability of HIV/AIDS prevention and care services, especially for high-risk groups. FHI/China helps to monitor the spread of the disease and public health policies. The organization also has a resource centre for gathering information and training. FHI coordinates closely with many local and international organizations to prevent the spread of the AIDS epidemic and hence to facilitate the excellent model development, capacity building and experience exchange in the Mekong River area. They also provide technical assistance in the areas of antiretroviral therapy, injecting drug users, and voluntary counseling and testing.
