Beijing International Volunteers Association (BIVA) is a not-for-profit organization established in China working with UNV (United Nations Volunteers) to support Chinese volunteers who would like to work either at home or abroad.They are committed to human resource-based work with individuals and organizations involved in social improvement and development, with a special emphasis on volunteerism. BIVA seeks to become a China-based internationally-recognized volunteer services, placement and advocacy organization, with a special emphasis on meeting developing country needs and the strengthening of individual and organizational human resources through development, training and exchange work.
