The Body Shop runs a campaign to support the Helen Bamber Foundation's fight against human trafficking

In 2007, The Body Shop UK ran a campaign called “Trafficking is Torture” to support the Helen Bamber Foundation. The campaign’s primary objective was to persuade the UK government to ratify a convention to protect the estimated 4,000 girls each year within the country who are victims of human trafficking.

The Helen Bamber Foundation works with survivors of genocide, torture, trafficking and rape who seek safety and refuge. They help women and children draw upon their inner resources, providing them with practical support and treatment to deal with their pasts and build new futures.
