DONORS

Our network is looking for the following product. This list has been drawn from members’ requests and recommendations from UN agencies:

  • Water equipment (water pumps, bowsers and tanks, well drilling equipment, water purification tablets, gully emptiers, temporary and permanent latrines)
  • Heavy equipment for waste clearing (stone crushers, wood chippers, wood shredders, bulldozers, dump trucks, backhoe loaders, waste collection trucks)
  • De-mining equipment
  • Construction materials (cement, aggregate, sand, steel, timber, tin) and equipment
  • Electricity related goods (generators, control panels & distribution feeders, distribution cables (PVC insulated), distribution boxes, house meters and appropriate cables for households)
  • Transportation (vehicles, including bicycles, and fuel)
  • Fishing vessels and equipment (boats, nets, tools)
  • Hospital equipment and medical supplies (antibiotics, IVs, first aid and medications for malaria, diarrhoea, fever, skin disease)
  • Office equipment (including computers)
  • Goods useful for re-establishing trade associations and helping with micro/small/medium enterprise
  • School furniture, equipment and supplies (including sports equipment, stationery and teaching materials)
  • Food (non-perishable and in-date, eg milk powder, rice, biscuits, lentils, beans, sugar, wheat flour, baby food. No pork or beef products.)
  • Agricultural products (fertiliser, poly bags, seed such as rice and other cereal crops, tools such as shovels, hoes and water cans)
  • Kitchen utensils (portable stoves, plates and cups, crockery, baby bottles, candles, flash lights etc)
  • Hygiene and sanitation supplies (latrines, mosquito nets, surgical gloves, soaps, detergent powder, feminine hygiene products)

When you offer goods on the Global Hand site, they will be seen by our validated members. Any interested will respond to the site by email and you will be in a position to choose who receives your goods. (Note: Your identity will be protected until you choose to reveal it.)
