Maboshe Memorial Centre (MMC) is a tax-exempted child sponsorship not-for-profit making community development organisation with no religious or political affiliations founded on the 24th November, 2006 in memories of the late Dr. Rodney Aongola Maboshe in Mongu, Western, Zambia and registered under the laws of Zambia, focusing on helping disabled children, Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) from poverty stricken families with clean safe Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM), community shelter, economic empowerment, legal aid, sexual reproductive health rights, HIV prevention, vocational and education sponsorships (primary, secondary & tertiary).
Maboshe Memorial Centre (MMC) considers district community centre’s under (Community Volunteers) to be critical to the development of communities and ultimately, therefore they are an important structure for bringing about change of attitudes and behaviours and development in the country.
