Summer and winter school uniforms in Australia
General information
Overall description
A school in Sydney, Australia, is changing their school uniform. They would like to find one or two NGOs to partner with to receive the used winter and summer uniforms that families will donate – either one NGO that can use both types, or two NGOs if only one climate type is suitable.
They have not collected the items yet but are wanting to first identify an NGO that is interested in receiving what will be collected. Quantities are not known yet, therefore.
Uniform pieces to be donated include:
Long grey pants.
Green wool jumpers. (80%wool, 20% nylon)
White long sleeve shirt buttoned shirts (in primary sizes only)
White short sleeve shirts
Girls winter tunics
Green Blazers
Long green tracksuit pants
White short sleeve sports shirts.
Green zippered sports jackets
sport shorts and winter skirts for the grades.
The uniforms range from Kindy to year 12.
The school may be able to pay for transport to overseas destination, or to a destination within Australia for onward shipping. But it is not certain.
Timing
Uniforms have not been collected yet, as the school would like to find a partner to promote when they run their uniform drive. Winter uniforms can be collected soon, but the summer uniforms will be needed until end 2022.Partnership types
