Kazakhstan Customs Code: Exemption From Imposition of Customs Payments

The Kazakhstan Customs Law (Article 330 Exemption From Customs Payments) states that goods exported from the customs territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan as humanitarian aid are exempt from imposition of customs duties as are goods imported into the customs territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan or exported from the customs territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan under agreements signed by states, governments, or international organisations, as free-of-charge aid for the purposes of humanitarian aid.

Please note: Humanitarian Aid shipments will be exempt from duties and taxes only if the recipient organization is officially registered with the government, and possess the corresponding required documentation and permission for each specific shipment, which must be arranged before the shipment is sent by the shipper.
