Communication for Development and Learning (CDL) is an NGO operating in Karnataka, India, that facilitates the use of communication as an integral part of the development process. CDL engages with alternative and mainstream publications in English and Kannada ( the local language) to provide an interface between the media and development. The main part of the organisation’s work depends on media research and analysis of development issues in the print media.
The organisation makes a conscious effort to integrate the voices of the marginalized groups into mainstream media spaces.
