The Nature Society (Singapore) or NSS, is an NGO dedicated to the appreciation, conservation, study and enjoyment of the natural heritage of Singapore, Malaysia and the surrounding region. Organisational activities include guided nature walks, conservation projects/surveys, collaboration with schools and community groups to promote nature appreciation/education, and campaigning for the protection of natural habitats. NSS reports numerous successes including coral reef relocation, establishing the Sungei Buloh Wetlands Reserve and publishing the Master Plan for the Conservation of Nature in Singapore which has influenced Government policy and planning.
