Local Sustainable Communities Organisation is a Non-Governmental not for Profit Organization. It was established on 8th February, 2018 according to the willingness of the community people in a view to deal with the present socio-economic problems in different areas by means of good understanding and sharing the problems each other and to find out the best way of solving them through free discussion and people participation in the decision making and get-together under an umbrella of LOSCO Organization. Partnership was identified as a key factor in the development process with both internal and external NGO’s and Donors as well as other government agencies.

LOSCO and the Local Church through partnerships and Networks with other like-minded NGOs and Government entities was established to promote community transformation. Therefore LOSCO will take all necessary initiatives /measures towards empowerment and self-determinations of community people enabling them to solve their own socio-economic problems by themselves towards poverty alleviation. LOSCO also helps and develops the distressed, needy, neglected and vulnerable people in Uganda socially and economically by providing them necessary assistance for purposes of sustaining their lives and conditions specially the women and children as well.

Sustainable Agriculture (for Agro-Tourism, Beekeeping, Poultry and Rabbit keeping)
Health (HIV/AIDS awareness, Nutritional Support, Menstrual Hygiene, Health care).
Advocacy (Human Rights and Good Governance, Rights of the PWDs, Women, Elderly and Child Protection).
Infrastructural Development (Water and sanitation, Shelter Renovations for the poor Communities and Households)
