Finnish Red Cross (FRC) focuses its activities on: increasing preparedness to assist and safety in everyday living, preventing social exclusion, promoting first aid skills, welfare and health, strengthening skills in psychosocial support, and preventing HIV/AIDS and intoxicant use. Their international assistance is based on effective disaster preparedness and response, as well as on long-term development and rehabilitation programmes.
