Oxfam is an international confederation of 15 organizations working together in 98 countries and with partners and allies around the world to find lasting solutions to poverty and injustice. Oxfam GB, part of Oxfam International, has been working in Azerbaijan since 1993 implementing projects on behalf of UNHCR and ECHO for IDPs and refugees, as well as developing an OXFAM-funded programme for local NGO support. In Azerbaijan, Oxfam’s focus is on supporting farmers to build sustainable livelihoods, health care, helping people displaced by conflict, working with local governments to make people’s voices heard and working on disaster risk, preparedness and reduction.
