Africa ICT Right

Unverified non-profit organisation

Africa ICT Right (AIR) is an ICT-oriented NGO established in 2007 and run by a team of volunteers. AIR was established in order to use Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools to address critical national problems pertaining to the education, agriculture, gender, youth empowerment and health in Ghana.

The education programs work to improve access and quality of literacy education by equipping underserved schools with libraries, computer labs, ICT skills training for STEM teachers, basic computer skills for students and by promoting computer science or STEM education in schools.

The health program focuses on delivering quality and affordable healthcare at scale to pregnant women in deprived communities.

AIR also partners with donors, governmental and private institutions, NGOs and local communities to address this detriment through their integrated development programs that provide technological solutions and support directed at educational and health facilities especially in less privileged areas where the digital divide is at its greatest.
