Shanghai Sunrise is a nonprofit, all-volunteer sponsorship program committed to help the most needy children in the greater Shanghai area obtain a well-rounded education. Additionally sponsoring libraries and used-computers-to-schools programmes in deprived areas, Shanghai Sunrise operates under the auspices of the Shanghai Charity Foundation, but is managed entirely by volunteers.
