The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) is an international aid agency that works with communities and governments in 157 countries for the survival, development and protection of children worldwide. In Russia, UNICEF has programmes to respond to the needs of children including the Child Protection programme, HIV/AIDS programme, Early Child Development programme, Young People Health and Development programme, and Northern Caucasus programme.
