PECC is a partnership to promote economic development in the Asia-Pacific region that also takes up community building projects as part of its agenda. Its current activities include projects and networks on community integration in mining, energy, eco-tourism and air transport in the Pacific. Another project examines the delivery of vital services in an urban setting with the objective of making recommendations for public policies that will enable the establishment of sustainable institutional frameworks, partnerships and financing methods that lead to social, cultural, and environmental progress.
