The New Life Foundation was established in 1964 under the patronage of H.R.H. The Princess Mother. During the past 39 years, the Foundation’s main activities have been to help underprivileged Thais with a physical or mental handicap in 3 villages located in Northern part of Thailand. The New Life Foundation provides villagers with free medical services as well as vocational training and education. Furthermore, housing or financial support are provided to 70 elderly members at the Somdejyah and Somdejying homes in Chiangdao and Lee. The Foundation has recently established a scholarship fund to help the third generation of children to become more self-sufficient.
