Habitat for Humanity Indonesia, a branch of Habitat for Humanity International, is a nonprofit volunteer-driven housing organization. HFH Indonesia strives to provide housing solutions which also address the collective needs of a community such as health and education. Habitat seeks to partner with community groups, government agencies, corporations and other development organizations to build homes and hope. Families work with Habitat to build affordable and decent housing through contributing their own labor. The organization also responds when disaster hits an area. HFH Indonesia has built more than 7,980 houses for families who survived from tsunami disaster.
