Pepal is a social enterprise that facilitates partnerships between the private and non-profit sectors in achieve effective and sustainable social development in the developing world. The organisation runs innovative international development programmes focusing on strategically pairing individuals from the private and non-profit sectors on critical change projects that impact on the lives of women, children and marginalised groups in developing countries.

To prepare the participants for these projects Pepal collaborates with leading academic institutions to create unique training curricula. The training provides participants with the theoretical tools and frameworks they need in order to work together towards successfully accomplishing their project goals.

Pepal’s development programmes are supported by the Fondation Hoffmann, a Swiss based grant making institution created in 2000. Its mission is to support the emergence and expansion of concrete projects which address global problems in today’s societies.
