  Rural Education and Environment Development Service (REEDS)was eatablished in the year 1994. REEDS implemented many rural development projects benefitting the rural and urban poor and low income women groups, children, farmers and youth. They are operating in two administrative districts of Tamil Nadu state in South India covering 5850 beneficiaries. Trained and qualified staff are involved in implementing the projects. The organization’s strenght is 450 women self -help-groups which are promoted by own staff with the total membership of well over 5850.
