The Veolia Foundation provides a scanner to help children with disabilities

The Veolia Environment Foundation has helped the Centre de Rééducation Fonctionnelle (CRF) of the Ellen Poidatz Foundation to acquire a “Vicon MX” scanner.

CRF, a French NGO, provides care and psychomotor rehabilitation for children with physical disabilities. The Centre also provides education adapted to the needs of its patients who are aged between 18 months and 20 years. With a capacity of 60 beds in full hospitalization and 5 additional places for day hospitalization, this centre provides care, psychomotor rehabilitation, and dispenses teaching adapted to the young patients.

The “Vicon MX” scanner, equipped with eight cameras, helps to make an extremely detailed analysis of the pathologies of the young patients, thus helping the care teams to assist their patients more effectively. With this new highly sophisticated instrument, CRF is acquiring optimal resources to detect, care for and treat the psychomotor handicaps affecting children and adolescents.
