New Life Institute of Management and Technology (NLIMT) is a Christian based academic institution for professional development. It was established in 2017 and was assessed by National Council for Higher Education. NLIMT is located in Ober Kampala, Opposite Ober Health Center III, Lira City West Division, Lira City, Northetn Uganda. NLIMT was established out of serious empirical study on shortage of human resource as professional manpower in the Uganda. It was realized that there are influx of people in the nation, especially Northern Uganda, who are constantly trying their best to obtain professional education that are within reach and affordable. As a result New Life Institute of Management and Technology (NLIMT) came to provide such affordable moderate professional training in various disciplines which is in line with National Education Policy of the Republic of Uganda.
New Life Institute of Management is providing affrodable service in professional training diploma programmes in the following courses: – Agriculture, Business administration, Gender & development studies, Procurement & logistics management, Social work & social administration and Public Administration & management; each lasting two (2) years with research dissertation and practical modules in each programme. These programmes started in 2018/2019 uptodate academic year and they initiated basing on participatory market demand survey findings hence meeting NLIMT objective of offering quality and affordable education. The Institute also offers certificate courses, involving two or three modules and lasting one year. Besides the academic programmes, the Institute runs extra curricula programmes like music, dance & drama; games and sports as a package for non-academic programmes.
The institution had systemic growth/development since its formation and today, we celebrate seven years of successful operation with over 03 graduation ceremonies that have passed out dynamic well trained professionals to give service to the community, nation and the world at large.

In the following years the institute wants to extend the existing partnerships and go
into new ones. Planned partnerships with the key actors for the next five years:
Governmental Institutions: Lira District local government, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF), National Agriculture Research Organization (NARO), National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS), Uganda National Farmers Federation (UNFFE).
Non-Governmental Institutions: NGOs, FBOs & CBOs - Food and Agricultural Organization of United Nations (FAO), Advocates international, Peace and reconciliation Ministry in Africa, Active Vision youth Foundation (ACVIYOF),
Community Partners: Local area councilors, churches, Schools, institutes of higher learning, PWDs
Private Sector: schools, institutions of higher learning, telecommunication companies, market suppliers
