Widows and Orphans Support Organization (WOSO) is a charity non- profit making and non- political organization with head offices in Agago district-Uganda

WOSO is legally registered with Agago district local government and legally operating in Agago district. WOSO work in collaboration and partnerships with Government, International, National and District organizations, private sectors and other institution/foundations with the similar vision.

Mission

To strive to contribute to a sustainable developed communities where widows, orphans and vulnerable children`s/ youths have stronger voice and access to health, education, economic and livelihoods services, disaster emergency care and support services..

WOSO Objectives

1. To increase access and utilization of HIV prevention services among most at risk key population (MARPS) in the communities in Northern Uganda.

2. To increase access and utilization of HIV/AIDS care, treatment and support services among adults, adolescent and children living with HIV/AIDS in the communities in Northern Uganda.

3. To increase access and utilization of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services among adolescent’s girls and young women age 12-35 years in the communities in Northern Uganda

4. To empower and engage HIV/AIDS, conflict and disaster affected households with sustainable economic and Livelihoods for households economic, income, nutrition and food security improvement in Northern Uganda

5. To promotion and protection widows, orphans and vulnerable children`s human rights in the communities in Northern Uganda

6. To provide education services and support for orphans and vulnerable children/youths affected by conflict, HIV/AIDS and disaster in Northern Uganda

7. To response to conflict and deserter emergency to save-lives and alleviate suffering of the victims in Northern Uganda

8. To promote transparency and accountability for improved quality services delivery in Northern Uganda.

9. To improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency for a better quality services delivery.
