The Buloba Women’s Development Initiative (BWODI) is a Ugandan NGO. The organisation’s major goal is to address problems faced by the children, youth and women in disadvantaged households. Current activities include teaching children between 13-15, campaigning against HIV/AIDS, sensitization on topical issues such as health, sanitation and the environmen, gender and human rights, family planning and counselling as well as economic emancipation of women. The organisation also campaigns against sexual violence.
