GIZ is an international cooperation enterprise based in Germany that supports the German Government’s development agenda. The organisation’s corporate objective is to improve people’s living conditions on a sustainable basis. In Niger, GIZ is working with the Government on poverty reduction in rural areas. Examples of projects that GIZ focuses on are literacy project in schools, development of primary education and HIV/AIDS prevention.
