Friend Ships provides food, medicine, clothing, and other critical life support relief items to people in need. Operations in the U.S. include the distribution of more than 150,000 meals (in groceries) to needy people in Los Angeles every week. Internationally, Friend Ships has delivered over 100 million dollars worth of aid to more than 30 nations, by way of a fleet of Friend Ships owned and operated cargo ships. Recently, the organisation has instigated a program in Honduras to provide trade school training, agricultural development and community services programs to people in impoverished communities.
