Enfants Refugies du Monde (ERM) works to help children whose lives have been affected by war, violence and exile. ERM focuses on multi-disciplinary aspects like health, nutrition, education and training for these children with a view to make them independent. The overall objective of ERM in Sierra Leone is to contribute to the well being of the repatriated and resident Sierra Leonean children in Kono by improving the conditions of their reintegration as well as those of their family and community, within their original community. Although children and teenagers are the first beneficiaries of the ERM programmes, child-care workers and teachers also benefit from training in pedagogy, psychological support and professional training.
