SOS Children's Villages - Togo

Unverified non-profit organisation

SOS Children’s Villages is the world’s largest orphan and abandoned children’s charity. The organisation helps children and communities in need to help themselves by establishing facilities for development, in particular, Children’s Villages where children are cared for on a family basis, and receive education and medical treatment. The organisation also establishes social centres for young people. SOS Children’s Villages has been working in Togo since the early seventies, and currently runs two villages and a community aid programme for farmers. A third village is being constructed.
