SOS Children is a charity that helps children and communities in need to help themselves by establishing facilities for development, including education, medical and social centres. The organisation establishes children’s villages to provide new homes for orphaned and destitute children, preparing them for independent life as adults. SOS Children has established three children’s villages in Namibia, catering mainly for AIDS orphans.
