La Boliviana is a high-altitude, multi-sport competition that takes place in Bolivia, one of the poorest countries in Latin America. Since 2000, La Boliviana has been helping those in need by providing an opportunity for participants to combine sporting activities with humanitarian actions. Each team is required to give time at the end of the event to help with distributions to support a number of humanitarian projects.
