National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW )Zambia is a non profit-making umbrella organisation for all catholic women and catholic women’s organisations in Zambia. Its aim is to unite the catholic women and co-ordinate their activities. NCCW promotes the presence, participation and co-responsibility of all catholic women in society and other churches in order
for them to fulfill their mission of evangelization and work for human development of the Zambian people particularly women and children.

NCCW Zambia has undertaken several activities at national and arch-diocese level, in line with the priorities of the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organisations (WUCWO). These are: poverty alleviation through economic empowerment of women; education of women and children; HIV / Aids.
