Youth and Women Alliance for Rural Development (YAWARD) is a Ugandan NGO that aims to assist the rural poor. YAWARD supports orphans and vulnerable children, promotes cervical screening for women and makes HIV/AIDS referrals. The organisation is also helping communities to access clean water and sanitation, and is involved in environmental conservation.
