City of the Child Jesus (CCJ), an organisation set up by Spanish missionaries and headquartered in the US, works with underprivileged children worldwide. CCJ has been working in Bolivia since 1991, and currently supports thousands of children throughout the country through its educational, medical and feeding programmes. CCJ runs three orphanages in Bolivia and is in the process of a major building programme designed to extend the academic and recreational facilities for the children and young people in its care.
