UNDP is one of United Nation organisations that has targets for reducing poverty, hunger, disease, illiteracy, environmental degradation and discrimination against women by 2015. On the ground in 166 countries, UNDP uses its global network to help the UN system and its partners to raise awareness, track progress and advocate for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life.
In Rwanda, UNDP works closely with the Government of Rwanda, as well as development partners, in order to build institutional capacity and effect sustainable development.
