UNICEF is an international aid agency that works with communities and governments for the survival, development and protection of children worldwide, upholding the Convention on the Rights of the Child. UNICEF’s work in South Africa consists mainly of mobilising resources and is knowledge-intensive. Support is prioritised around HIV/AIDS and the social dimension of integrating rural development.
