Ben & Jerry's launches partnership with the ONE Campaign in the fight against global poverty

In 2008, Ben & Jerry’s and the ONE Campaign announced a joint endeavor today to fight extreme poverty and preventable disease around the world.

ONE is helping to excite people, get educational materials about overseas poverty, development, disease and hunger published and to the public as well as developing a plan to end poverty, improve education and healthcare globally. In an effort to support ONE, Ben & Jerry’s created a new channel of awareness to end extreme poverty and suffering with its newest flavor, ONE Cheesecake Brownie.

The company is working with ONE to help raise awareness and draw attention to these world issues. Ben & Jerry’s partnership with the ONE is a campaign to help educate people about the importance of this global issue and hopefully help motivate them to make a difference. This combined undertaking is a creative way to bring people together to learn what each can do to fight extreme poverty.
