RedR Australia is part of an international charity working to relieve suffering in disasters by selecting and training competent and effective relief personnel for humanitarian aid agencies worldwide. It has Standby Staffing Arrangements with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the World Food Programme (WFP), UN Joint Logistics Centre (UN JLC), the UN Childrens’ Fund (UNICEF), the UN Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). RedR’s membership includes programme managers/co-ordinators and specialised technical experts as well as those with practical hands-on skills. RedR Australia also provides technical services to Australian and International non-government agencies. RedR Australia is a leading provider of training to humanitarian relief workers in Australia and the Asia/Pacific region.
