The Kahanoff Foundation is a private Canadian foundation active in Canada and Israel. It funds traditional and innovative charitable programmes in these two countries in the areas of health, education, culture, social services, philanthropy and community development and research. Funds are provided for programmes which help strengthen the non-profit sector, programmes which recognise innovation and excellence in the non-profit sector, programmes which help increase the public’s awareness of the value of giving and volunteering and programmes which encourage ways to create and maintain a more civil and more tolerant society.
