The Turing Trust

Unverified non-profit organisation

The Turing Trust is a UK based charity set up in 2009 by James Turing in response to the poverty he saw in a Ghanaian school during his gap year.

The Trust has a Ghanaian branch (registered in Ghana as the Turing Foundation) which carries out several activities involving Afoako ICCES (Integrated Community Centre for Employable Skills). The school is located in a small village in the Ashanti Region of Ghana and aims to reduce youth unemployment by teaching vocational skills. Raising awareness and funding in the UK will enable the Trust to support the local, community-led ICCES that give children the education, support and inspiration they need to transform their lives.
