Strive for Excellence Foundation is a non profit, nongovernmental organization that provides Psychosocial Support to individuals and families at the local level and globally. Our organization is also contributing at a higher scale in the fight against sexual exploitation and abuse, drug abuse and promote sensitization on adolescents and youths mental health.
The organization is also engaged if fighting drug abuse and Gender Based Violence. The organization has well trained and qualified staff who are driving the vision of the organization. We also run a Youths Mentorship Program in Partnership with the Sub Delegation of Youths Affairs and Civic Education in Mokundange, Limbe II. This program brings together Adolescents and Youths to train and equip them with both hard and soft skills, covering different areas such as Goal Setting, Entrepreneurship, climate change, human Rights, public speaking, IT, community conflict Resolution, SDGs and a lot more. We aim at contributing in making the world a better place for all by empowering young people. Presently, we are carrying out empowerment training with teenage mothers which have experienced an increase due to the Anglophone crisis. We cover the whole of South West Region which is made up of about seven Divisions. In other to make our activities effective, we partner with the Delegations of Youth Affairs and Civic Education and Secondary Education and other Community Based Organizations. We have a seven-man team with several other volunteers we work with to create the impact we are creating in communities.
We have a strong team ranging from adolescents, youths to Doctors and Lecturers. We also have community volunteers that we work with, enabling us to get to the grass roots as a Community Based Organization. We also carry out radio programs to expand our sensitization campaign on some abuses.
