Kivandeni Orphan Children Foster care (KOCFC) began in 2000 but officially registered in June 2003 as a as CBO: legally registered with Ministry of Gender, Sports, Culture and Social Services Number KTI/DDS/S/H/G/11345. KOCFC a Christian humanitarian community based organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities in Kenya to reach their full potential by tracking the cause of poverty and injustice, and restoration of Orphans/Street children. Lately KHOFC have identified 350 children on foster care progrmmes in several schools. The community based and integrated approaches are the main strategies through which KHOFC strives to improve the lives of the Street/orphans children. As a community based organization dedicated to bringing hope through its educational, health, basic needs and Vocational training school programs, aimed at 1,500 children, to train and equip many women as we can .We formed KOCFC to bring hope to the women by providing adult education and to the orphaned, street children and children from impoverished families by providing love and care in a Christian environment.
