Habitat for Humanity-Central Arizona

Unverified non-profit organisation

Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona (HFHCAZ) is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International which strives to eliminate poverty housing. The organization helps families of low and moderate incomes become homeowners by building and partnering in the creation of affordable housing. They partner with corporations, individuals, foundations, faith and civic groups to provide the sponsor funding to cover the cost of construction materials to build or renovate each home. The projects are realized by coordinating all aspects of HFHCAZ home building – fund raising, building site selection, partner family selection and support, home construction and mortgage servicing. The homes are made possible through the labor of the organization’s dedicated volunteers working side by side with the homeowner families.
