One Block at a Time Inc (OBAAT) raises funds and recruits volunteers to build homes in Haiti.

One Block At A Time Inc’s’ house program plans to renovate or replace these shacks with concrete block buildings and cement floors, tin roof, windows, doors and a patio area for sitting. Volunteers from the states will travel with OBAAT to Haiti and work with the villagers to build the homes. Many of the benefactors will own no land, so that will also need to be purchased. Supplies will be purchased in Haiti ( thus employing some people).
