The Latin American and Caribbean Council of AIDS Services and Organizations (LACCASO) fights the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Latin America and the Caribbean and promotes and defends human rights, through coordination, integration and capacity building of civil society organisations. LACCASO tries to provide the opportunity for people living with HIV/AIDS, and those affected by the epidemic, to benefit from and participate in all aspects of their work, including prevention, research, design of public policies and decision making.
